Although I have been sewing since I was 10 years old, I did not make my first quilt until the early '70s. Since then, I have made literally hundreds of quilts, taught many quilting classes and have exhibited for over 10 years. At the Bayberry Quilters of Cape Cod show in August 2004, my wall hanging, "Bass River Beach Bargello" won second place, viewer's choice, professional division. I describe myself as a traditional quilter who enjoys creating original designs. Now that I have become a longarm quilter, I have added one more design possibility for my quilts.

I am pleased to announce that after 35 years of teaching high school, I have now gone on to my second career of designing and making quilts and offering quilting services, classes, kits and workshops.
